We were afloat at about 0930, the wind was pretty light, about 4kts and patchy. Wilzy the Kiwi coach said this was a good day as 4kts was good for Lankawi- yeh right.
A mixed day for the team but some great results and positions on the water, I have no doubt that we would have struggled to run racing quite a lot of the time we were racing in 1.2 kts. To be fair the breeze did get up in the afternoon monsoon downpour, but even that wasn't enough for Matt to hike. Performance of the day we think was Ollie with 3 good results and - robbery of the day was Scott lying 3rd at the leeward gate, and being caught out by no wind.
